ONLINE HOME BUSINESS - AVOID BEING A VICTIM TO FRAUD

In today's economical climate, many people, including you, me, the lady across the road and even the bloke you see drinking beer on his balcony have one common topic on our minds - how can we make more money? Where can we find more money? And when all resources for making money become exhausted, we turn to the number one medium used for education, socialising, research, entertainment and business - The Internet. Unfortunately, the Internet is also a targeted medium for fraudulent business dealers to soak hundreds and thousands of dollars from innocent, desperate people who are trying to look for a different way of making a living and building a better future.

Hundreds of people are tapping away at their computer, right this moment, searching for potential home business opportunities. This search will, without a doubt, retrieve several fraudulent programs, otherwise known as scams. Some golden rules and tips to avoid being scammed are:

  • You won't get rich by tomorrow. That is a fact. No matter how compelling, no matter how persuasive a program or system may sound, if someone tells you can get rich overnight - avoid it, they are lying. No one is going to hand you money on a silver plate. Websites that exaggerate about how you can become a millionaire and get rich with no effort, no work and no investment are clearly unreliable. The sad thing is when people get desperate; they take desperate measures and actually buy into these scams.

  • Repetitive Payments. Nobody's going to flood your PayPal account with money while you sleep. Remember there is no such thing as a free lunch. Programs that claim that you are going to repeatedly get paid to do nothing are clearly ones to avoid. Pyramid schemes. A common phrase within pyramid schemes is "Get three who get three who get three will make you rich". This doesn't happen. Such programs that repetitively tell you how easy it is to earn money and all you have to do is refer 3 people to the program must surely be too amazing to be true. Making money on the internet cannot be that easy. Avoid it like a plaque.

  • "One time only offers". Genuine online businesses are ones that have been around for some time and are still around. They would not bother with time limits or one time only offers. They should not be trying to play with your mind and cause you to act upon impulse. They would only want to recruit people who are serious and determined to succeed in an online home business not someone who has joined in the spur of the moment. Do not always believe what you see. Testimonials, amounts paid to date, ratings etc ... they can all be anything but genuine. Make sure you read the testimonials, which if genuine. should also have a website from the person making the testimonial attached.

  • Google it! Before deciding to sign up always do your own research, read reviews and check out what other internet users have to say.

  • These are simple facts about scams. Don't be a victim to fraud - keep these facts in mind. With any true business, time, effort and investment are needed. Remember if it sounds too good to be true then it is.
